Might be buying an old house whose paint is pealing off down to the bare wood. The exterior was very poorly maintained. Clapboard is very dry and gray.
Is it easier and or faster to scrape the entire house exterior by hand,
or
Pressure wash it down to the bare wood?
How about clean-up?
How long does the siding need to dry out?
I am worried that the water from a pressure washing will penetrate the siding.
House is about 100yrs old.
Kinda worried that the wood is too dry for pressure washing even with the most delicate of touch. What do you all think?
