I’m getting a set of knoves ground for exterior crown moulding. I know I’ll need to have two separate profils for the rake and the eaves. How do I go about designing profiles that will match?

Skim-coating with joint compound covers texture, renews old drywall and plaster, and leaves smooth surfaces ready to paint.

Have a professional millwork shop construct a developed molding profile based on the actual pitch of the rake. Grind to that profile.
