Exterior sheathing now on inside of addition – what to cover it with before drywall

Hi, all,
The former porch on this 90-year-old house was enclosed 50 years ago. The room is insulated, heated and air conditioned. The clapboard was removed from the former 1x exterior wall and it was covered with 1/4″ paneling. I will apply drywall directly over the 1x sheathing, but I want to cover it with something like Kraft paper or red rosin paper to keep the insulation and dust from filtering out. Does it much matter which?

Use whatever you want, it's probably not necessary anyway. I wouldn't use building felt because it has an odor that may be unpleasant. Tyvek or the like would be my choice because it would be seamless, but I wouldn't buy a roll for that small of an area unless you have a future need for it.
hmmm, a couple cans of great stuff?
??
What will your red rosin or kraft paper do that your drywall finish won't?
Re Tyvek - just happen to have 125' of a 150' roll, so wouldn't be a problem.
Re drywall - good point. No furring, so the drywall would be against the sheathing and seal the dust/insulation.
Appreciate the thoughts!

Just install the drywall..
No need for anything unless the surface is really uneven. Just install the drywall over the sheathing.
Are you planning on keeping the door trim and trying to butt the drywall up to it? In addition to a lot of cut-in work, it's going to create an unfortunate intersection of the base running into the side of the door trim. You might consider removing the door trim, adding a 1/2" extension to the jambs. This way you could run the drywall under the area where the trim is now and re-install the trim over the new drywall.
Good luck!
