I would like to use copper piping as part of a deck baluster. My question is how to keep it from turning colors. I have seen other messages that said nothing works for more then a few months. I have also seen where the copper will react with salt and ammonia to form a bluish patina and I was wondering if this would be more stabile?
any help, my wife wants me to start soon!
