I’ve looked high and low (locally anyway)and searched the internet
looking for a narrow one less than or equal to 18″ and at least 36 inches long. need about 12 inches deep
if you know of a supplier please post the link.

Photography sinks. Go to an old restaurant supply warehouse. Someplace that specializes in used stuff. There's one in Denver on the west side of I25, south of the 58th exit. I saw a 4'er there cheep.

Hum, how hard is it? Is there a book or something for examples??I thought about fiberglass as the only really large ones I can find are stainless and don't really need that.
If it were me I'd probably make it as though I were making a pan for a shower using either a membrane like KERDI or NOBLE or similar. Maybe pour the concrete using a stucco water proof/resistant crete and wire lath inside. You could even tile the inside using large hard floor tiles set in a mud base just like a shower floor. Just a thought.
