I used the Snap Cap Glazing System of Boulder,CO for my sunroom roof. After 20 years the gaskets have deteriorated and leak.
I cannot find the profile I need to replace this gasket, as all three popular DIY systems, including Snap Cap, have changed to a bigger gasket that will not fit my aluminum extrusion.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas of where to look?
Should I just angle cut back the deteriorated gasket under the aluminum and put in a bead of silicone or other caulk?
Thanks, WoodsyW

I am not a glazer but if you decide to caulk it use a 100% polyurethane. pl and vulcom. That is what glazers use.
What do the words pl and vulcum (after 100% polyurethane) mean?

PL and vulcum both have 100% polyurethane caulks. Sorry I wasn't a vit more descriptive.
