Just wondering if there are any sources for kraft faced insulation for i-joist built 12″ o.c? Homeowner wants garage insulated since he had a living space put in up above last year. Any other suggestions? Maybe just use unfaced since he is going to have drywall over it? None of the yards in my area carry the 12″ o.c. stuff because they’d have to order a whole truck load & there’s not much call for it in my area yet. Appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks. I was just trying to save myself some work; guess I'll just have to go w/ the obvious.
If you want a tight fit after the split....ask for full 24" insulation batts rather than normal stud frame 24" o.c. insulation.
Probably will have to be ordered...but worth the wait. Be sure to ask about 12" width availability....at one time our supplier had access.
