Does anyone have any info about a thermostat that I could get, that would run my furnace fan on a timer, or maybe at a temp?
As stated in an earlier thread, my basement gets too cool on mildly cold days, say at 50 degrees.
Running the fan on the furnace equalizes quite nicely, but I am interested in some automation for that process.

NOT that there is anything wrong with that.

Go to EFI.org and then retail (or is it consumer).
They sell a Fan Cycler. It run the fan a certain percent of the time.
Don't know for sure, but I don't think that it has an tempature control.
If you want the fan to only run when the OAT is cold then you can get an external thermostat and wire it to always run the fan.
Or probably run the fan cycler. I saw probably because I have not looked at the details of it, but in general you should be able to make it work that way.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
Thanks Bill. This is the one I found, and it looks simple enough.http://www.energyfederation.org/consumer/default.php/cPath/39_892_694I was thinking of getting a programmable thermostat also, I may keep my eyes peeled for a combo unit or such.A medium to large guy named Alan, not an ambiguous female....

The Honeywell IAQ programmable thermostat has a circulation feature. From the manual:
Fan runs randomly, about 35% of the time, not counting any run time with the heating or cooling system.
