Where do you guys get your stainless steel nails from? I remember Piffin saying something about he only uses SS connectors and nails on outside decking. I was thinking about using T & G treated porch decking. I’d like to use SS finish brads in some places

My regular yard is getting pretty good about carrying SS fasteners.
But a couple of other places are McFeely's, and Manasquan Fasteners, both mail order.
There's a place in ( I believe ) Rhode Island, but I can't remember the name.
RI supplier is probably Jamestown Distributers in Jamestown, RI - marine supply shop -
http://www.jamestowndistributors.com - lots of stainless on boats
that's the one
Google it and search around and you'll find many. http://www.stainless-nails-brads-staples.com is one.

I started to do a search but wasn't sure who had a good name among BT'ers. My local yard has a limited selection.
Unless I get a direct recommendation, I search around (usually find things are fairly consistently prices) until I find exactly what I want and then just buy. My town is small and local resources are limited so the internet has expanded my purchasing power greatly.

I live in Northern NJ, 15 miles from Times Square, and I can't find sh!t. I rely on the internet for most of my purchases.

Local yard has (or can get in a day or so) just about anything I need, but if you have to go online, check out http://www.mazenails.com
I JUST got my order of square drive SS trim screws from MCFeely's. Odered it on Friday and recieved it on Monday morning.
The quality of their fasteners? ... real good...the prices? Not sure really...needed the screws, knew their name, ordered four #'s
