I was wondering if anybody here knew whether the tax credit for windows would apply to additions to existing homes? The wording on the federal tax incentive at various sites alludes to “existing” homes only. I would like to get the information out to my customers asap in order for them to take advantage of the credits. Thanks for you help.

Everything I've referenced
Everything I've referenced says the rebates apply to "existing homes" but not for "new construction", I was told an addition on an existing home qualifies for the rebate.
The windows just have to meet the .30/.30 threshold to qualify, and the rebate applies to the window cost but not the labor to install.
