On the left frame listing the different forum folders, the Feedback on Fine Homebuilding folder is missing…..I used to be able to see it.
When I post a new message, the pulldown menu lists it.

Yes its missing and I have a real live complaint for the last (#146)
This issue uses the cover, a 6 page article, 2 page "Finishing Touches" and all that book promotion and the stuff that falls out to promote Taunton Press"s book on Concrete Countertops. All that promotion was fair except the 2 pages of "Finishing Touches". If Taunton cared about this concept they would have used Finishing Touches to showcase someone else's work. As I said somewhere else tonight, Taunton is a big company persuing every avenue for self promotion. That is the reason for the changes here. They want crossover sales and that Taunton Store banner up there all the time.
Fine. Don't call it change for the better or anything else.
So....does this mean the Feedback foler has been eliminted to head off any complaints ?
I asked only because the folder has disappeared.
Yes, I also thought the concrete counter article and tie-in book promo was a bit overdone, and I have seen that countertop or similar ones by the same folks appear in several past issues.
The article itself, however, was informative.
Any official word from Andy Engle ?
I did threaten to cancel my subscrition if they messed around with the magazine's format and screw it up like they did with the web site.
Complaints seem to be rolling in. There is an eb and flow to everything. I used to fear the damage architects were reeking here but now I fear the business people. Is Taunton a public company beholding to its stockholders? When Taunton falls into the business muck and mire and loses its soul, someone else will rise up.
