About 1 month ago someone here posted a msg about making there own blades for the Fein.
I always meant to try out his idea and having a short day today I decided to give it a go.
To whoever that guy is, “YOU DA MAN”. I tried it out and it works great.
Not having the variable speed Multi Master, just an old plain vanilla version with no special attachments I’ve never used it all that much and wasn’t really interested in dropping $50 on a blade that people said didn’t work that long. But I did have an old blade from a pull saw with some of the teeth worn out (don’t cut formica counter tops with them) so I got out the dremel and cut away. Cutting the shape was fairly easy but drilling the hole was a bit tougher, use slow speed on a drill press. Anyway on the first attempt it worked perfectly and only cost my time.
BTW I made it into variable speed by running it thru one of those variable speed router attachments, works fein.
Thanks again, Fein blade making idea dude
Dan

Great! Good for you, & whoever!
And you, young lady... What are you doing hanging out in the middle of the day talking to strange men on the computer?
Aren't you supposed to be stripping windows?

Actually, I'm at work, talking to strange men on the internet...& not nearly as strange as some I talk to in real time.<G>
They frown on my bringing my old windows here - too messy! Whereas, talking to strange men on the internet is quiet & unobtrusive...
I believe Luka is the one you are wanting to thank. He posted an explanation complete with pictures a while back.
Glad it worked out for you.
Cool thanks Dan and Luka. I got a old shark saw blade Im gonna try that with.
So, where's the link to the directions?
