I bought felker tm75 tile saw a few years ago from HD. I need to replace the nylon bearing (short tube) that rides on the track because the nylon is worn down and developed a groove.
The felker company itself does not supply parts and obviously HD does not supply parts for this saw. I don’t want to go to local authorized supplier who may charge me arm and a leg to order this small part.
Does anybody know a supplier? The web search did not help. The tube is about 11/16 inch diameter, 3/4 inch long and has 1/4 inch hole. I would like to replace the nylon with metal, if possible, and line the track with plastic. I thought there was plastic edge cap for plywood panels but I can’t find it these days. I would appreciate any suggestion. Even a rod of similar size will do that I can cut to length. Or a very thin wall tube that I can sleeve over the bearing. Thank you to all in advance.

Have you tried going to the hardware store. In the hardware section they have trays and trays of specialized parts. Among those are nylon rings and bronze bearings.

Have you asked over at John Bridges?

I've gotten replacement parts by calling their customer service. 800.365.4003, you want part #185138.
Or fashion your own.
They list it, but show out of stock.

Thank you all for the ideas. I went to Lowes which keeps very organized small parts isle. I found metal spacers that increase by 1/8 inch and bought 3 sizes which fit into eachother very well. I will epoxy them together. Original bearing is 11/16 but biggest spacers is 9/16", but I am going to try epoxy mellamine strip to the track and make up the difference. Thanks.
Try Mcmaster-Carr. The website is http://www.mcmaster.com.
They have thousands of these types of parts and ship the same day with no stupid "handling and processing" charges even if you only buy 1 item.
I use them all the time.
