Festool Sander for Flooring and worktops
I had a hardwood floor to fit recently and because it was a small space I mainly used a belt sander for finishing. Would the festool 150 size dual mode machine be ok for this kind of job? My other typical applications would be finishing worktops and sometimes preping woodwork for decorating. I like the idea of a universal machine.

The rotex is vastly superior to a belt sander for virtually any application.
24 grit will hog anything w/ near 100% dust extraction.
Thanks for that, just need to save up the cash! The model I am looking at is called RO150EP in the UK, a Dual action sander.
It's a great machine.
Just found 10 3x24 24grit sanding belts on ebay at $9 and $5 for shipping whatever you order.
