I just got a advertisement in the mail from the taunton press. They were offering a series of books what I think they called the “Builder Series” you know covering doors, masonary , frameing ect does anyone have any opinion whether or not these books would be worth purchaseing as a set. Are they good reference mat’l. Are they good reading for those lonely nights in front of the fire ect

Ron, they are good reading. They are compilations of articles from the early years of FHB I think. I've got a couple of early ones so maybe I'm not up to date on them. I got the roofing one to get the copper roofing info, another to read something else.
They are all interesting articles, even if you never plan to do the whatever it is about. Joe H
