   I got to admit. I didnt even know they made fiber cement roof shingles. Love fiber cement siding, waiting for the more informed to answer this.

   *Have used them once on a job, but they were a pain the butt. They came with a little copper fastener that slipped through one of the slots ( these shingles were in a run of about 4 ) then popped through a hole in the trailing edge of the lap above. ( lost yet??)

   *The August '97 JLC briefly discusses these and other alternative roofing materials. i recall some concern about their walkability. Is Mr. Hazlett in the house?
