Took up wall to wall carpeting and the tack boards left little holes in the flooring.
Now that I am refinishing how do I get wood putty to look like lite oak?

use yur saw dust (ultra fine) and clear glue...
mix to tooth paste consistency and hand rub it in...

Terrific. Will Elmers glue that dries clear work and will I be able to put Bona Traffic over it when I'm done?
Do you think I will need a sealer on the bare wood before I put the Bona Traffic down?
Cant thank you enough for your help
Look up floor refinishers in your area. They use a clear liquid (name escapes me) specifically for this purpose. The more sawdust you mix with this clear liquid the 'dryer it gets. Refinishers smear it into the cracks and crevices and give the floors as final sanding.
aslong as it's not white glue...
see reinvent's post...
where are you???
