Nice stuff Steve....I can never decide which I prefer...creating from scratch, or recreating what once was. Beautiful work! I hope you were rewarded with more than one cold one!J. D. Reynolds

      Wow Steve, Looks Great.

Did you refinish or just rebuild every thing back to new?

Whatever you did you took yor time and did it right.

Nice job!"Rather be a hammer than a nail"

Hey Bob, great to "see" ya!

The original back bar was built in 1857 and that we were able to restore. the front bar was totaled but was not original and had a mauve formica top. in my opinion the fire was a blessing.

we completely rebuilt the front. I spent three weeks with a dremel and dental picks Just cleaning out the carvings on the back bar. as well as the rest of the sanding.Steve

          Steve,

The work looks great.  I was curious as to how you apply the finish to the white built in (or any painted project for that matter) and what kind of finish you use.  Thanks.

Steve - good to see ya back around.  I will assume that your absence was due to you being so busy, right?  And I remember when you were all worried about starting out.  How's business?

Work looks great.  Deck looks nice as well.

Three weeks with a dremel?  I can hear the ringing in my ears and the vibes in my wrist!

            Richie,

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. the white built in was done with rollers then back brushed. as the shelves are adjustable we had them out to finish the interior. I was thinking of spraying this one as I have on others but didn't. I actually don't remember why I didn't but oh well, I didn't.Steve
