Just starting out on a set of Hitachi Brad and Finish Nailers.
What are the common-usual sizes you guys currently use in your stash ?
I’m thinking 2.5″ on the finish and 1.25 and 2″ on the brads…

I carry 1-1/2", 2", and 2-1/2" in 16 ga. finish
and 3/4", 1", 1-1/2", and 2" in the 18 ga. brads
But I hate being without the right fastener.
Use mostly 2" & 2-1/2" 15 gauge but also carry 1-1/4" & 1-1/2"
Brads... 5/8", 1" & 2" 18 gauge
In 15 gauge, I have 1-1/4", 1-3/4", 2", and 2-1/2", and some 2" stainless steel.
In brads, I have 5/8", 3/4", and 1", with some 3/4" stainless steel.

My nail box contains the same.If you have any poo, fling it now.
I must think like Shep. Hate not to have the right length on hand.
One observation. For the 16 awg, 2 1/2" tend to bend on me on the way in and blow out a lot. If I don't absolutely need that length (I think once that I can ever remember), I shoot a lot of 2" and no problems. Might be my gun (a PC) or not reading the grain right in orienting the gun.
For the 18 awg., I have 1 1/4" and a couple shorter lengths. I've gone through boxes and boxes of the 1 1/4" and haven't even opened the packages of some of the shorter lengths (think I used some 3/4" but that's about it). But I have 'em if I ever need 'em. ;-)

Absolutely every size for every gun. I have 15, 16, 18 and 23 guage and the size nail depends on the work. Sometimes I have 2 hoses running to the work with 2 different guns. I like to nail the outer of case with 16 and the inner with a shorter 18.
