I’m using some peeled Ponderosa logs as interior posts and brushed them with a tung oil product. I’d like a little more sheen, and wondered if finishing wax would work.

I use tung oil all the time on furniture projects, and I usually add two coats of yellow can Johnsons paste wax a few days after the last coat. Adds a little shine. Mostly adds a finishing touch. Feels good.
