Fireplace hearth

I would like to retrofit a fireplace in my den.  I have a pine floor over 10 in. floor joists.  What do I have to do to prepare the floor for the fireplace insertion.  The fireplace I have is a used, zero clearance unit that I want to install in a corner.  My walls are plaster over 3/4 in. dovetail routed wood over 2×4 studs.

    Go to Heat-N-Glo's website and download installation instructions for any of their zero clearance units.

    Everything you need to know is there in print and in pictures and drawings.
