i’ve got a flat roofed rowhouse built around 1900. there’s about 2 feet of crawlspace between the roof and the ceiling below. the ceiling’s insulated with about 3 inches of mineral wool. i’d like to lay some R-14 over the mineral wool, but here’s the rub…
the roof has three skylight vents, but i can’t locate any intake vents. will the skylight vents alone provide enough ventilation to allow more insulation? has anyone encountered similar problems?
