What is the best brand, (that is still affordable) of padding with a built in vapor barrier to place under a floating floor. Also is it reccomended to staple it down?

each floor mfgr. has their own specified pad IIRC..no staples, just tape the seams w/o overlap.

i've used 15lb and 30lb felt and never had a problem... guess i'm just cheap... but the stuff they try to sell u for this just seems overpriced...
