Good Morning,
We currently live on Cape Cod, in a house with a finished walk-out basement. We have a Pergo Select laminate floor( over top of a vapor barrier and a pad ,over concrete ) that is not to our liking, mostly for its dark color and the plastic sound and feel. We are contemplating a replacement campaign and would like to float another floor over part, or all of the existing floating floor ( I think only the T & G joints are glued ). Any advice from the community, I would prefer not to place in its entirety, due to inconvience, cost and disturbance factor. Thanks in advance–Tom

Just curious, but why "go over" the easist kind of floor to take up?
