Working on cleaning up after a flood. Carpet and padding are out, slab is radiant and place is drying quickly. Customer has daughter with allergies. I’m expecting adjuster on Monday and she’s indicated that she would like to try and leave the drywall intact.
Water didn’t stack up, due to the fortuitous presence of a sump that serves a basesment bathroom. However, the carpet was thick enough to allow substantial wicking up into the drywall to take place. Not enough though to cause wholesale softening.
Anybody have experience with that “killer” mold? What would you do?
