Hello!
We’re putting a floor drain through a slab in a basement utility room. I know I’ve seen a drain somewhere- either on tv or in Fine homebuilding- that has this plastic sort of funnel shaped apparatus on it that curls up after water passes through it. The idea is that once the water in the trap has evaporated in a seldom-used drain, this thing that curls up seals against sewer gases from being let into the room. If anyone knows the brand name of this drain I would be most grateful as we are set to pour next week. Thank you! Doug in Axemann, PA

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
wow! That was fast. Thanks BillHartmann. Yes, this drain works much like the time-tested A-hole apparatus. But the web link was even more informative!
