floor nailer vs floor stapler

I ordered a 2″ flooring nailer from Grizzly…but alas they are back ordered to July, But they have @’ flooring staplers in stock. Oh , and the price is right.

I am installing Brazilian cherry.

What are the pros and cons of a stapler vs a nailer?

    Some people prefer a stapler, claim it holds better.  Is your wood solid 3/4" or thinner engineered?  Might make a difference.  I don't think there is really a difference in performance.
