Bob,
This would be an excellent time for you to visit your local lumber yards with your plans.
Tell them you want the best floor system available in YOUR AREA. A lot of regional difference can translate into a lot of money.
If you can get good prices on either open web, or TJI's then that's the way to go.
Your lumber yard will have the programs to size your spans relative to your area and codes.
It's a free service, they want your business.

Regardless of which way you go I would definitely glue the decking to the trusses, joists or what ever with a good construction adhesive. Also we always nail (or screw) our decking spacing the fasteners 8" o.c. on edges and 12" in the field. I know many contractors use staples but we like the shear strength obtained by the nails diameter and psychologically I sleep better knowing a nail head is holding the decking down instead of a thin wire.
