Hello there,
I ussually hang out in the knots forum but figured this was more up your ally. I am redoing 1400 sq. feet of flooring in the apt complex I manage and was wondering wha tyou people think. I want to put down a vinyl tile with metal cap but the flooring installer was recommending carpet. As it is cheaper and safer. The only thing is that carpet gets dirty and uncleanable as with tile you can mop it.
Let me know what you think

Commercial-grade VCT- cheap, durable, easy to install, easy to replace, and easy to maintain. It's now available in a variety of colors/patterns, so you can make it look nice too. Carpet in an arpartment complex (especially in public corridors, etc.) is a bad idea in my opinion.
