Need some feedback on the what you would do first.
I have a project coming up that has spec’d pre-finished hardwood floors
which is something I have not used before.
We usually have raw wood installed then sanded and finished with two
of finish. We than install doors, cabinets base etc. We than have the
floor screened and have a third coat applied.
With the prefinished how would you flow the job.

The prefinished stuff has a super hard finish, but it still gets scratched if you aren't careful and is hard to touch up. Be very careful on it. If your subs aren't known for being careful I'd be tempted to install the floor after everything else is in.
Unlike a floor that's sanded smooth, a prefinished nail down will telegraph every bump and uneven seam on the floor so make sure things are flat to begin with.
Can't say what a floating floor would do.
Beer was created so carpenters wouldn't rule the world.
I would install cabinets, doors, trim...then prefinished flooring.
I agree ...it's very easy to scratch.
If the doors go in after flooring, the jambs and trim have to be cut bang on to finish floor...takes too much extra time and there is no reason.
Prefinished flooring last...just cut jambs and trim flush with a scrap of hardwood on the subfloor...fast, quick easy and no chance of scratching prefinished floor.
Even at that, my helper put a scratch in a prefinished floor. The only way to fix-cut the board out and replace...it can be done but PITA and why go there?
