Does anyone know of any commercially available brands of cement based coatings for protecting styrofoam type insulating board exposed to the elements. I have a job insulating an existing home that has bare concrete walls. We will be applying foam board insulation to the exterior and will need to protect it from the elements. I would like to stay away from attempting to do a parge coat of mortar because of the poor adhesion I have seen on other jobs where this has been attempted and the time involved in application.
Thanks ,
J..

I think "Dryvit" might be a system you could use. I am not sure of spelling or availability.
*Dryvit's website is http://www.dryvit.com They can give you name and address of closest distributor. Also, you could try PAREX. I look for their website address in about anhour and post back with the address.Billy
*Retro-Tek??? I've used it with good results.
