I have a 4” footing drain pipe that has colapsed (sometype of tarpaper pipe ) it is in heavy clay soil about 100′ to daylight……I have 2 questions .
1. Is 4” size large enough should i use the coragated black pipe in a roll or 10′ pvc sewer pipe
2. what is the corect pitch per foot

I used schedule 40 PVC on mine - Stumbled onto a good deal on the stuff. And you could practically drive a truck over it without collapsing it.
I definitely wouldn't put the black stuff in - Just use some 4" PVC with a critter block on the end.
I don't think the slope makes any difference, sice you're not passing solids through the pipe.
Prepositions are not words to end sentences with.

1) Yes...No...Maybe...I don't know, depends... should have a sock.
2) minimum of 1/8", except, at the actual perimeter draining area (the part with the holes,) it can be level.
