I’m building a house in southcentral Mississippi. My builder has shown us a product to be sprayed on all wood during framing called FOrtiCel. Anybody have any info on this? It is 25 yr guaranteed that no mold will grow on any treated surface. It is about 1.00 per sq ft . I would love some feedback on this. Our house is about 5500 sq ft, so will be over $5,000 to do – but could save lots of money down the road. THanks!

I would not use it on general principles.
If you go to their website that don't have ANYTHING except platitudes.

No lab test, no certifications, no applications information, no MSDS.
Now on their home page there was a link to where they got a Mold Help Seal of Approval.

But that is a very limited test made up by that organization.
Now this company makes has a number of products and they give all of the needed information.

Now they also have a mold specific product, which they suggest to be applied with Bora-Care.
