Friend is putting their house on the market & I’m helping spruce it up (nice trees, those spruce)
Has a Four Seasons brand sunroom with a couple of broken double insulated panes. Googling returns a whole boat-load of Co. advert sites and another hat-full of horror story sites…..but, somewhat surprisingly, no you-tube or otherwise about how their glazing system works. The upright mullions are full length & mortised into the base…the horizontals seem to be applied flush on the glass, whereas the sides have a fairly typical rubber spline to the glass. The sill has an aluminum spline.
Anyone have any hints on how the glass gets replaced? Looks as though it lifts up/slides sideways to clear the framing once all the seals are out (and the interior silicone beading sliced through…..but it would be wonderful if someone here has first-hand experience….
TIA y’all

If you don't get a response, I think that the guy I use for glass can help you out. Let me know if you want me to call and ask him.
Say-you going to Mike and Helen Smiths the 2nd weekend in August? You can make this one, no?
Thanks
Appreciate the reply...no other responses so far, so if you can ask your source if he's familiar with Four Seasons product I would be much obliged.
The press of 2 kids & work keeps me pretty close to home...where are the Smiths? (and what's the Glass City? the natives here refer to us as the Queen City....sure we are.....)
Appreciate the invite!
oops
I mistook the JR as another sometimes poster here. But the invite is still on for this summer's Fest. If you've been reading along over the years you know what a fest is I'm sure. The Smiths live in Rhode Island and hosted the 2004 Fest.
The 2005 was held here at our home just outside the Glass City-Toledo.
Now, I'm sure there's more than one, but are you in the city we passed through on the way to Lexington, Ky last week?
Wondering if you know when those roads might be finished.................................
About the time they undertake a new bridge?
I'll give Mike the glass guy a call this a.m.
