Hello all,
I would like to get some advice on the best way to from/finish a Jacuzzi. By that I mean, how can I finish the front of the unit in order to gain access in the future. One of the walls that make up the alcove is an exterior wall. One smaller wall will need to be finished for a shower. That leaves the front, which is the long side and another small wall that I do plan to leave open for access to the unit.
Thanks in advance Turtleboy

I have done them frame and (raised) panel, no dado on the sides, and a shallow dado on the bottom. Slip the panel up into the top dado and rest it into the shallow bottom dado. Also fit the panels into a solid frame, and attached with velcro to stops. Also screwed and plugged the whole face frame so it can be taken out. Also have done tile fronts where you hinge the access panel(s), and caulk them closed.
I haven't found a way I like yet, but the velcro panels are probably the best for a wet location.

The best way to finish off a Jacuzzi is with a shotgun. Or maybe an industrial shredder.
Oh....that's not what you meant? Sorry. Can you tell I have some brand issues there?
I didn't even think of that, but don't they come pre-finished?
Thanks to all for the info,
I wanted to use a different product by Maax called an Apex 108. It was a combined whirl/air pool with a shower base at one end. It seemed perfect for the our application. The only problem was that it took 8 weeks to receive it. Then when I did get it was damaged and on another 8 weeks by the time we got the 2nd one and that to, was damaged even worse than the first. Now we got the Jacuzzi and will have a pan made up for a tiled shower. The two pieces will be side by side so it limits my access to the jacuzzi.
Thanks again for the help, Turtleboy
PS what about the transition from the jacuzzi frame to the side of the shower any advice?
