We get $4.00 to $6.00 for nothing basic ranches and as much as ten for the fun stuff. A friend of mine bid a 2300 square footer with 11 different rooflines and lots of trimwork at 27k and he was low bidder by 14k. Some folks like to spend money.
*Hey Ken and all...as you post your prices, name your town and explain if siding or other things are included...Thanks,Jack
*Jack,I'm in the NW corner of CT. Those prices are for framing, installing exterior trim, windows and doors. It does not include siding or roofing. Cathedral ceilings, tray ceiling and strapping the ceilings are all extras. KMH

Here in NY....100 miles north of the city, we get about $3 sqft. Thats for framing and windows installed. Stairs, porches, usually extra. Hows that compare to your area?
