I happen to be an aircraft nut (soled at the age of 16 in an Areonca Tri Champ)…..
Any who, I have several flight sims. My favorite is DID’s “F-22 Air Dominance Fighter”. This is the most realistic flight sim I have flown. DID, Ltd. writes simulation software for the British and US military. Needless to say, it’s damn sophisticated
It has three “tours” of operations in the regions of Egypt and Saudi Arabia, each mission linked to another within the tour. So, when I have a particularly trying day, I climb into my “Raptor” and go on a mission.
There are missions where KC-135s are available for refueling and have AWACS support, my only problem is that Afghanistan isn’t in any of the tours. While each mission does have its goals, I can land at an allied base, rearm and refuel, so I can search out and destroy other “targets of opportunity”. I have taken out the Aswan Dam, on occasion, just to see what happens when one of the largest dams in the world is breached, most impressive.
I post this for a couple of reasons: One is to ask, “What computer games do you folks play to relieve the ‘stress’?” And secondly, to let ya know that “Python” (that’s my call sign) is available to take “requests”.
