We have a wide plank pine floor in our living room.Doe to water damage, a gap developed between two of the boards. The gap is somewhat irregular in width between 0″ and 3/8″.
What can I use as a filler?
I thought of ground up cork but can’t find a supplier.
Thank you for your help

Wilhelm, A filler is a filler and a patch is a patch. I'd replace the boards if possible. It has been my experience that anything you use as "filler" will probably fail. I'd use a wood fill strip of the same species glued in place if you have to. Ed.
*leave the crack to add character, throw a rug over it or fill it full of dirt. If this stuff is T&G (probably) It will be a pain to take up and repair. 3/8" in my opinions not worth worrying with for the trouble you will go thru.

I was the architect on a renovation job where there were irregular large cracks between the t&g wide pine floor boards.
The GC/carpenter suggested the solution. He routed 5/8" wide by 3/8" deep channels between all the boards and glued a contrasting wood to the tounge of the t&g board. It was labor intensive and used a lot of bits, but it looks great and is holding up well. He had done it once before, so his estimate for the work turned out to cover his costs for labor, materials and O&P.
