I would very much appreciate recommendations as to a good sealant to be used on my garage floors. I’m not particularly interested in any type of epoxy two part systems as the concrete floors were poured without any plastic sheeting between the ground and the actual concrete. Due to the lack of a proper moisture barrier, moisture will always be a concern in its migration up through the concrete.
Hopefully a good sealant will stop the moisture or at least minimize it.
Your recommendations to a good quality sealant will be very much apprecaited.
Thank You!
Frank

Because of what you said, I would think that any sealant will just flake or peel off as the moisture comes up through the slab. Unless you can get something that would really soak in and then cure. Maybe someone else will have a better answer.
Have you looked at UGL's DRYLOCK? They offer a masonry sealer, as well as a latex-based concrete floor paint. I've never used either products so I can't offer any first-hand experience.
we don't put a vapor barrier under any slabs. I know I will be hereing about that. That being said, we have used the epoxy with no problems.
Entex. I got it from a masonry supplier. The DIY places, e.g HD probably won't have it.
