Finally found a moisture/mold resistance product I liked using in Denseguard’s Fiberboard drywall 4×8 sheets and friggin’ Lowes makes a corporate decision to can the item and go back to a greenboard.
I’d asked the manager why and he said the price was too high so people weren’t buying it.
$12.47 was too much?

Maybe they were selling it at less of a profit than other items. Bummer. Call the mnfctr and see if they can hip you to other local distributors.
Same ol' Walmart Mentality, Rez.
"Expect More, Pay Less (from Target stores).
Besides, I'll guess lots of people still think the green board is somehow waterproof, so that's what they want.
it wasn't the price..
it was the mrgin....

WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
Here you go Rez, from GP's site.
This is for DensArmor Plus the mold resistant drywall stuff, which is I think what you were using.

heh, only place listed within driving range is...you guessed it: LOWES!
Probably marked it down to 1.99 a sheet before letting it go. You're slipping.
What gets me, is when they get rid of one part of system of components, because it isn't selling, which leaves them with six or seven things that disappear a month or two later because they aren't selling well enough.
BTW, I don't think that green board is green board.
Check the markings. I suspect that it is Mold Tough or something like that.
Both the paper and the gypsum have anti fungal materials in them.

Good stuff then, aye? Is that what you use?
I haven't had any need for any in a couple of years when I used the paperless..
