With a glass block window that is flush to the outside brick wall I now have an opening of about 6 1/2 inches around it. Is my best option to frame a box around it and then drywall the area?
This is how the window started out and the new size it is now. Opinions please.

Do you plan on some fashion of trim mold around the window?
The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation. From the desperate city you go into the desperate country, and have to console yourself with the bravery of minks and muskrats. A stereotyped but unconscious despair is concealed even under what are called the games and amusements of mankind. There is no play in them, for this comes after work. But it is a characteristic of wisdom not to do desperate things.
Yes there is three piece molding around the bathroom door that we would like to mimic.
I would think framing it out and treating it as you would any other window would do it.
