Kraftmaid has a glass pattern called Luxor that I wanted to order sans cabinet for some custom work. I contacted them, they said hit Lowe’s or Homer. Did so only to have the sales folks at both say they have no specs or cost on glass, just cabinet numbers used to order the glass. This is weird. This is no service. I have a custom door that has a unique porthole and the glass would match the door.
Is it me? Or is this the world of generic cabinets and big box stores?

Where are you located? Kraftmade has other distributors and with any luck they can help you. In the Indiana,Ohio, Pa area, contact Modern Bldrs Supply.

It's you.
They are not in the glass business. They are in the cabinet business.
Now there might be available as a repair item, but my guess is that the repair item would be a replacement door with a glass installed.
local glass shops don't offer anything that matches?

I can have a custom job done, but I thought that off the shelf would be easier. Apparently not. After some research, it seems many of the cabinet shops distance themselves from the glass part. Odd that you would have to buy a cabinet door to get the glass. I guess its like cars now. You buy the whole brake caliper, not the subparts."Democracy is when the people know exactly what they want, and get it good and hard." HL Mencken
