As part of my renovation I want to use a section of glass railing. Has anyone seen one that accepts mounting onto a wood sub-floor (3/4 ply)? I’ve seen a number that use a slim base shoe that is meant to either be bolted into, or set into, concrete. As this is on my third floor, concrete is not an option.
Has anyone had any experience using glass railing in a residential setting where you don’t have concrete to hold the thing in place? I’ll happily accept uprights in the railing, it doesn’t have to be a pure glass railing.
Thanks

Any glass company in your area should have catalogs with options for you. A quick google showed pix of some that seemed to be on a wood floor.
