Framers gloves....I wear em year round....no matter what I`m doing....trim included.
The Ironclads and the CLCs are whats mostly available here....don`t really have a preference. Neither seems to last longer than the other....but wearin` them all day everyday, I don`t expect them to last too long in this field.
ATTENTION FELLOW BREAKTIME MEMBERS:
If you`d like to discuss topics other than home building, come on down to the Woodshed Tavern. Great bunch of guys and gals letting off a little steam about everything and anything. Its not a special club, but.....as of Monday, March 14, the Tavern folder will go behind an access wall. Only those who request access to this folder by contacting [email protected] will be able to view and participate in discussions there.
Wonder Gloves.

My local yard has them for (I think) a couple of bucks each. I usually get a week out of a pair easily. Sometimes longer.
They are not so good for cold weather. The company that makes them sells a "liner" to wear under the glove.
The liner is nothing more than the same glove without the rubber. Not a lot of help.
If it's cold, I wear something else.
