It's my understanding that you cannot use solid wood flooring over concrete slab. You would need an engineered floor.
I saw it done on T.V. that way...
In my experience with a glue down Bamboo make sure you have the proper cleaner for the glue. The glue that came with the Bamboo I did was a urethane based glue and would expand and ooze out of the T&G if excess got between the boards, also this would continue for an hour or so. Also stepping on the freshly installed Bamboo was like stepping on ice, the flooring could slide around quite a bit. I have not had that with other glue down installations. I don't know about installation over concrete as the other guy mentioned but it is an engineered flooring as it is 1/8" strips glued together so it might be fine. Good Luck
