But I think there are a lot of other answers that are true at least some of the time.A slogan.An advertising theme.A mantra.Jingoism.A justification.Filler for political speeches.A song lyric.There must be more. My point being that there are plenty of people who use the phrase, not because they believe it, or pray for it, or whatever, but because they have an agenda that is furthered by using the phrase.Rich Beckman
