A pet peeve of mine that hopefully there’s a product that addresses… Why is it that outdoor spigots always have the attachment holes so close to the pipe (and thus the hole drilled through the wall) that the spigot ends up barely hanging on to the wall? Brother, could you spare some more metal on your spigots??
Is there a “goof plate” of sorts available that can be attached to the house via a hole pattern with wider spacing, that the spigot can then attach to the plate? Right now the hole in the masonry from previous work is big enough that trying to anchor the spigot to the wall would be futile…

Commercially made? - not that I know of, but that doesn't prove anything.
How about making one out of PT wood? Teak? Corian?
Just a thought - could be plain or fancy, your choice.

Never underestimate the value of a sharp pencil or good light.
Thought about that, just figured that I can't be the only one that always looks at those spigots and goes, "Gee, could they have placed the holes any closer to the big hole I drilled for the pipe?" This is especially true when you're drilling in masonry, and it is all crumbling around the drill.
Like I said, a major pet peeve...
