When we put in our new kitchen 3 years ago, we chose granite countertops that are somewhat like honed granite (they are not shiny) but they are more textured and  bumpy. I have forgotten what they are called and the supplier hasn’t been of any help. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this type of surface and if anyone knows if there might be a way to make this countertop smooth. Thank you
