Part of my roof is always in shade so the green mold is quite healthy.
I’ve heard of something you can tack to the roof and when water runs over it, dissolves (I think) and kills the green stuff – forever…
What is it? Do the BigBox stores carry it?
Thanks,
Mark
Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, cut it with an ax.

as i understand it and many here know alot more than me... when roofing got away from "real asphalt" and went to fiberglass for some reason you started seeing this problem... it's alive and it's grow'n on your roof...
a little household bleach in a garden sprayer will kill & clean it fast... but it will come back... but if you have a strip of zink or a strip of glav. metal slipped uder the top row of shingles the rain water run'n over it will... for whatever one of god reasons ... keep the stuff from grow'n on your roof...
