This one's called the King Arthur's Tools 45822 Lancelot Carver.
There are basically 3 types of grinder carver wheels, the ones like this with a chainsaw link on them, then they make a version with replaceable carbide inserts and yet another with a super pointy rasp type shape to them.

I've done a lot of carving in the past, mostly stone but some wood. Been a long time though.
I have used the "chain saw" type wheels but was always a little afraid of them. They have a tendency to kickback and maybe it's just me but that little spinning chainsaw just looks like it could take a huge chunk of flesh out of whatever part of your body it comes in contact with. It will hog out the material though.
I preferred using the round face carbide wheels like these.

They cut really fast but are far more controllable than the chainsaw wheels. They will load-up when carving wood but a good file card or wire brush will clean them in a snap.
